All orders accepted by SJH Machinery Sales Ltd are subject to our terms and conditions of sale. All descriptions and illustrations contained in this website are only intended to give a general idea of the products and specifications may vary slightly.
PRICES AND AVAILABILITY
Prices may change without notice. All items subject to availability.
DISCOUNTS, SPECIAL OFFERS, FREE ITEMS AND GIVEAWAYS
Discounts, special offers, free items and giveaways on products or services may be withdrawn without notice, are subject to availability and are only valid until the expiry date. If no expiry or end date is present the offer or discount is not valid.
Mainland UK destinations: Orders will be dispatched by reputable haulage companies with delivery services to Mainland UK, Highland, Isles of Scotland, Northern Ireland and Isle of Man. All other destinations will have to be priced separately, by fax, phone, or e-mail.
Delivery services: Economy & Carriage paid orders (UK Mainland Free over £150 GBP Net) are sent on our standard service (up to 3 business days, Mon-Fri) or Next working day (Mon-Fri) delivery can be selected for a small additional charge. Delivery of large and/or heavy goods such as machinery will be quoted individually.
Free Delivery: Free delivery applies to stocked attachments, haulage equipment and wearing parts product lines only. Excludes machinery, Highlands, remote delivery areas, islands and overseas.
Non-delivery: Any claims for non-delivery or shortages must be made in writing within two days of delivery. Any claims after this period will not be entertained.

We accept payments by bank transfer, credit/debit card, PayPal or cheque by web site, phone or post. We can only dispatch goods or services to the registered address of the cardholder once payment has been made. Cheques may be subject to clearance before delivery. We reserve the right to charge bank charges on cheques which are represented. We reserve the right to refuse any credit card transactions. Credit accounts are available to some customers by prior agreement.
RESERVATION OF TITLE
The risk of the goods passes to the buyer upon delivery from the carrier, but the TITLE in the goods remain vested in us and shall only pass from us to the buyer upon full payment made by the buyer, of all sums due on whatsoever account or grounds to us.
Stock items may be returned in original packaging and in saleable, unused condition. A re-stocking fee may be charged. Non-stock, special order items or machinery cannot be returned.
Returns – Damaged Goods
If goods are damaged in transit you must report this within 24 hours of receiving the goods, and we will then contact you to discuss options.
It is also recommended if the parcel(s) are clearly damaged on receipt it is advisable to sign for as ‘damaged’ or refuse delivery and take photographs of the damaged item.
Returns – Faulty Goods
All new items unless specified are supplied with a 12-month manufacturer’s warranty, in the rare event of a faulty item we may repair, replace or refund as applicable.
Returns – Unwanted / Not required
You may return unwanted goods at your own expense providing they are complete and in pristine unused re-saleable condition within 14 days of purchase except in the case of special orders. Some other items may be non-returnable if this applies you will be notified upon ordering.
Returns – Special Orders and Second-Hand Goods
Refunds will not be given on any special-order items unless faulty.
Returning Goods – please read the following carefully
When returning goods for any reason you must:
- Ensure that all items are adequately packed
- Obtain permission from SJH Machinery Sales Ltd to the return of the item(s)
- Include proof of purchase and reason for return
In addition, you must make sure that all parcel(s) are adequately insured to the full value of the goods. Any damaged or missing goods will be chargeable.
